Many a time's food choppers are compared with processors. But each of these appliances has their own distinctive features that make them suitable for usage in various types of cookery tasks. Normally, the usage of a food chopper or processor is decided by considering the food that is to be cooked.

First we can find the manually operated choppers that have sharp blades that chop the food with an up-down motion. Then we have the electric chopper that cuts the food with a rotating motion of the blades. The small size of a food chopper makes it handier for regular usage as compared to processors.

Food choppers are mostly useful for chopping different fruits and vegetables such that they can be used for various salads and desserts or in the form of an ingredient for different food recipes. Normally these choppers do not provide any additional processing options. The only option they provide is an on and off switch. Food are among the most versatile kitchen appliances that are available in the market. They can perform many different tasks by using the multiple varieties of attachments and blades that come along with the food processors. The capacity of processors is quite large as compared to any other similar type of device. Food processors normally use a large bowl made of plastic that are covered by lockable lids. These bowls allow the users to see through so that they can get a clear view of the process.

Tasks Performed by Food Processors:

Food processors are highly versatile and are used for various tasks like dicing, shredding or slicing any kind of food items including meat. They are also used for creating dough for baking.

Storage Space and Cleaning:

All the parts of the food processor that can be washed including the blades and bowls should be washed comprehensively using hot water. Because of the large size of a processor, storing the processor can be troublesome as compared to processors.
